The Public Investment Fund (PIF) Governor, Mr. Yasser bin Othman Al-Rumayyan, today inaugurated the fourth edition of the Public Investment Fund and Private Sector Forum<\/a><\/strong>which will be held on February 9-10, 2026 at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Center in Riyadh, in the presence of a number of Their Excellencies, officials in the public and private sectors, and local and international investors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His Excellency the Governor of Public Investment Fund<\/a><\/strong>During the opening ceremony, he explained that this forum comes today at a pivotal stage in the Kingdom's economic journey, where competitiveness rules are at a higher level, sectors and value chains are maturing rapidly, and ambitions are rising to horizons where opportunities are measured not only by returns, but also by innovation and determination.
His Excellency explained that the forum has become the largest platform of its kind to seize partnership and cooperation opportunities with the private sector, noting that the number of participants since 2023 until today has reached about 25,000 participants from government and private sector leaders and investors in the Kingdom and the world.

Turning Conversations into Opportunities
<\/strong>He pointed out that the previous edition of the forum succeeded in transforming the dialogues into tangible opportunities for the private sector through specific programs and initiatives that contributed to supporting the growth of the business environment, where more than 140 agreements worth more than 15 billion riyals were concluded, which is a practical evidence of the strength of the existing partnership in the process of transforming the Saudi economy to become one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
His Excellency affirmed PIF's commitment to empowering the private sector to contribute to driving the Kingdom's economic transformation as an enabling partner for growth and opportunity maker, pointing out that the Fund works with the private sector to deepen the impact and build an integrated economic system that drives sustainable growth, through a methodology in line with the investment cycle that begins with taking risks in building strategic sectors, establishing pioneering partnerships and supporting initiatives, in order to stimulate spending on local content, localizing supply chains, and developing capabilities, local industries and infrastructure.
Mr. Al-Rumayyan said: \u201cWe see this impact in the programs and initiatives launched by the Fund to strengthen its partnership with the private sector. The Local Content Development Program has contributed to driving the growth of its spending and portfolio companies on local content over the past years, to reach 591 billion riyals during the period from 2020 to 2024, and the Contractor Financing Program contributed to enabling and implementing projects for the Fund worth more than 10 billion riyals through innovative financing solutions, which led to raising the percentage of participation of local contractors in the Fund's projects to 67% in 2025.\u201d.

190 investment opportunities worth more than 40 billion riyals
<\/strong>He pointed out that the Fund's platform for the private sector has provided more than 190 investment opportunities worth more than 40 billion riyals through its international partnerships and localization of supply chains, adding that the impact was not limited to financing, but extended to raising the readiness of companies, building national competencies and providing quality job opportunities, within a system that applies the highest standards of efficiency, transparency and governance, stressing that this impact is reflected in the increasing demand for investment in the Kingdom.
He said that since 2017, the Public Investment Fund has opened new horizons through long-term investment in strategic sectors, pointing out that the Fund today has moved according to its strategies for the next five years, in line with the objectives of the third phase of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, from building sectors to integrating systems, and from launching opportunities to accelerating growth, within an open invitation to the private sector to invest and partner in creating a diversified and robust economy.
His Excellency emphasized that the Fund continues to empower systems and build the possible foundations for growth, pointing out that the next stage requires a higher level of readiness, ambition, expansion and innovation from the private sector, in which the role of the private sector moves from implementation to contributing to building the economy and creating value, and witnesses accelerated economic transformations that are built on the readiness of the private sector and its ability to invest in innovation.

Formulating competition rules
<\/strong>The next five years will rewrite the rules of competition through profound shifts in business models, artificial intelligence, capital markets, content localization, and supply chains, he said, noting that the private sector in the Kingdom today has the greatest opportunity to participate in driving economic growth, shaping the future, and achieving sustainable returns.
The PIF-Private Sector Forum is an effective platform that combines supply and demand by connecting PIF portfolio companies with government entities, investors and private sector companies, opening wide horizons for new partnerships and forming the next wave of projects that empower the private sector and enhance its role in the national economy, and provides a practical framework to explore promising opportunities that support business growth and contribute to driving the future of the Saudi economy, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, by reviewing partnership opportunities with PIF portfolio companies, enhancing communication channels, building relationships, and providing direct access to.
The Private Sector Forum reflects the magnitude of the momentum it has achieved since its launch, as it recorded an attendance of more than (10) thousand participants from the private sector, in addition to more than (100) expected memorandums of understanding, the participation of (18) government agencies, more than (120) Public Investment Fund portfolio companies, in addition to (6) specialized platforms, and the organization of more than (100) dialogue sessions and the participation of more than (200) speakers, confirming its status as a comprehensive platform to promote partnerships, exchange experiences, and support integration between the public and private sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
