This is the story of Imam Muhammad bin Saud, who laid the first foundation stone in Dir\u2019iya in 1727 CE, and who, with the edge of his sword and the insight of wisdom, charted the course of a nation that knows no defeat. Today, we do not merely commemorate a memory; rather, we celebrate deep roots that run deep into the earth and a history written in the ink of glory, so that this nation may remain proud, cherished, and stable under the banner of Tawhid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year's celebrations are taking place under The \u00abYom Badina\u00bb Slogan\u00bb<\/a><\/strong>... to embody the pride in the origins of the first Saudi state, which began in Dir\u2019iyya\u2014the capital that became a beacon of culture and science and a hub of political unity on the Arabian Peninsula, On this day, Saudis commemorate the historic transformation led by the imams and kings, leading up to the prosperous era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, may God protect them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is not limited to \u00ab<\/a>\u00bbFoundation Day\u201d is not merely about recalling the past; rather, it is a moment of reflection on current achievements. For while we celebrate Al-Dir\u2019iya and its history, we see Saudi Vision 2030 continuing to build smart cities and develop vital sectors, as noted by His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid Al-Haqil<\/strong> Recently, the state has made \u00abfamily stability and quality of life\u00bb a top national priority, an extension of the approach to stability and security that the state has upheld since its very inception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
