The total value of the project is estimated at more than 11 billion Saudi riyals ($3 billion), This award confirms the selection of the main development partners, and the parties are currently working to finalize the agreements.<br><br>At the same time, during MIPIM 2026, the park announced investment packages worth more than 14.3 billion Saudi riyals (3.8 billion dollars) in new private-sector commitments to develop several areas within the park\u2019s master plan, bringing the total committed investments to more than 20 billion Saudi riyals (5.3 billion dollars) across five major packages. The anticipated project will be developed through an investment fund managed by Mulkiyah Investment Company, comprising a group of Saudi and international investors; the King Salman Park Foundation will contribute its land to this investment structure, while private-sector partners, alongside local banks, will provide financing and carry out the project\u2019s development.<br><br>This investment model represents one of the most prominent private-sector-led real estate investment initiatives and reflects the growing confidence of international developers and investors in King Salman Park as a promising global urban investment destination.<br>Under the proposed agreement, Gulagasi Real Estate Development will lead the project\u2019s development in collaboration with Abdullah Al-Othaim Investment Company, and the total built-up area of the developed zone will exceed one million m\u00b2, It is located adjacent to the King Salman Park metro station, providing a high level of connectivity and easy access to various parts of the city, in addition to its direct connection to the park, positioning it as an easily accessible, mixed-use urban destination in the heart of Riyadh.<br><br><strong>A large urban area with a residential character<br><\/strong>The plan includes the development of a large urban area primarily designated for residential use, spanning more than 400,000 square meters and comprising approximately 3,700 residential units of various types, an educational facility serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade to international standards, approximately 300 hotel units, more than 100,000 square meters of office space across various categories, and a diverse array of retail stores and a wide selection of restaurants and cafes. The project will be implemented in accordance with internationally recognized standards in the areas of sustainability and quality of life, with the goal of obtaining LEED and WELL Gold certifications for the main assets, in addition to applying similar standards throughout the project.<br><br>King Salman Park continues to make steady progress in its implementation, with large portions of the infrastructure work now complete and development and construction work continuing on public spaces and key cultural assets, with 93% construction contracts for project packages, infrastructure, and major assets having been awarded over the past period; this demonstrates the Foundation\u2019s commitment to its approved plans and vision.
