{"id":102868,"date":"2026-04-02T08:38:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-02T05:38:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/?p=102868"},"modified":"2026-04-06T08:36:44","modified_gmt":"2026-04-06T05:36:44","slug":"%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%a3%d8%b0%d9%83%d9%8a%d8%a7%d8%a1-%d9%88%d9%86%d8%ac%d8%a7%d8%ad-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b4%d8%b1%d9%83%d8%a7%d8%aa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/102868\/","title":{"rendered":"Smart people and corporate success"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That wasn't the famous quote by American inventor and former Apple CEO Steve Jobs when he said, \u00ab<strong>We hire smart people so they can teach us what to do<\/strong>\u00bb This may seem like a common or passing phrase, but it has become an empirical wisdom that underscores the importance for executive management or business owners to adopt this key and vital approach to ensure their business success and continued competitiveness in attracting the brightest managers and employees to lead initiatives and foster innovation in the development of solutions, products, and services that will ensure the financial sustainability of companies, God willing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">People with <a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/61473\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"61473\"><strong>Skill and Intelligence<\/strong><\/a> High achievers in the business world face fierce competition\u2014not only from rival colleagues but sometimes even from executive management itself\u2014because their skills and intelligence surpass those of their colleagues or even their managers. Many managers interpret this as a threat to themselves or feel that the mere fact thatover their managers or business owners creates an uncomfortable situation for many of them. The presence of someone who surpasses them in intelligence and experience makes some feel embarrassed by the situation, as the human psyche typically resents seeing others surpass them\u2014whether in skill, intelligence, or presence\u2014and while this may be acceptable in a business environment among colleagues, but for an employer or general manager to adopt this approach toward a smart employee is certainly contrary to professionalism, impartiality, and excellence in the workplace!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is another example of a leader who supports this approach to hiring and utilizing talented people: Eric Schmidt, who established a fundamental hiring principle at Google during his tenure as CEO, namely \u00ab<strong>Hire people who are smarter and more knowledgeable than you, and don't hire people from whom you can't learn or who don't challenge you.<\/strong>\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0In my opinion, any administration that views an employee as or <a href=\"https:\/\/wazen.sa\/ar\/blog\/%D8%AF%D9%84%D9%8A%D9%84-%D8%B1%D9%88%D9%91%D8%A7%D8%AF-%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A3%D8%B9%D9%85%D8%A7%D9%84-%D9%83%D9%8A%D9%81-%D8%AA%D8%A8%D8%AF%D8%A3-%D9%85%D8%B4%D8%B1%D9%88%D8%B9%D9%83-%D8%A8%D9%86%D8%B8%D8%A7%D9%85-%D8%A5%D8%AF%D8%A7%D8%B1%D9%8A-%D8%B0%D9%83%D9%8A\"><strong>The Smart Manager<\/strong><\/a> Even if they perceive it as a threat to their positions or as embarrassing, they are far from being professional in their work. The presence of such intelligent individuals in the business environment not only enriches it but also ignites a spirit of challenge and undoubtedly serves the interests of the business and its
