participation of engineering and consulting firms, male and female students from the College of Engineering and Design, as well as a number of faculty members from Taibah University and Prince Muqrin University, alongside a group of real estate developers and individuals interested in architecture and the urban identity of Madinah.<br><br>The workshop aims to reinforce concepts related to the roots of urban identity and to shape its future characteristics through an integrated approach that combines conscious understanding with inspired application.<br>The workshop explored the concept of \u201c<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/102795\/\">Saudi architecture<\/a><\/strong>\u201dAs a comprehensive urban planning concept aimed at showcasing the authentic and diverse architecture found in various regions of the Kingdom, and to promote it through design regulations and guidelines focused on achieving a balance between authenticity and modernity, thereby guiding the architectural and urban design process toward contemporary solutions that reflect aesthetic and heritage values, and contribute to the development of a modern urban environment rooted in local character.\u201d.<br>The workshop also addressed several topics, including the Saudi Architecture Initiative in terms of its strategic objectives and implementation, the role of the City Design Studio and the challenges associated with it, and the future characteristics of Al-Madinah\u2019s urban identity through an analysis of concepts, realities, and trends, in addition to a review of the
