His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, inaugurated today at the Governorate\u2019s headquarters, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, a number of municipal, housing, and investment projects worth more than two billion riyals.

His Highness the Governor of the Eastern Province noted the developments taking place Municipal and Housing Sector<\/a><\/strong> Through rapid development efforts and high-quality projects that reflect the commitment of the wise leadership \u2014may God support them\u2014to continue developing cities and improving the quality of life, in line with the leadership\u2019s aspirations and fulfilling citizens\u2019 development goals. He emphasized that these projects are an extension of the comprehensive development process currently underway in the Eastern Province across various sectors, and contribute to strengthening its economic, investment, and tourism standing, in addition to its pivotal role in attracting high-quality opportunities and enhancing the efficiency of infrastructure and municipal services, thereby contributing to building a more prosperous and sustainable future.

His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing emphasized that the Eastern Province possesses advanced economic and tourism potential, highlighting the region\u2019s most prominent municipal, housing, and investment projects, as well as ways to enhance the quality of services and support urban development initiatives, thereby improving the quality of life and enhancing the appeal of the region\u2019s cities. He noted that the total value of the projects that have been launched exceeds two billion riyals, as part of efforts to promote balanced urban development across the Kingdom\u2019s various regions.
His Excellency expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Governor of the Eastern Province for his continued support, emphasizing that this support helps accelerate project implementation and improve performance efficiency, and aligns with the objectives of the Kingdom\u2019s Vision 2030 to develop cities and improve quality of life in partnership with the private sector.

For his part, His Excellency Eng. Fahd bin Mohammed Al-Jubeir, Secretary of the Eastern Province, explained that among the most prominent projects launched were the development of the Al-Khobar Waterfront Corniche, the \u201cNabdh Al-Khobar\u201d Cultural Center, and the Bayfront Model Beach Project (Bayfront), in addition to the Dammam Creek project, the Cultural Center on the Corniche, and the International City project. These initiatives reflect the region\u2019s approach to developing waterfront areas and enhancing quality of life in partnership with local and international investors, highlighting the Eastern Province\u2019s appeal to investors, In addition to the Eastern Province Municipality\u2019s efforts in municipal investment, developmental housing projects, and housing empowerment programs, which contribute to raising homeownership rates and enhancing quality of life.
