The performance was affected by the decline in the residential sector by 67% to reach SAR 12.03 billion, while the value of transactions in the non-residential sector decreased by 60% to reach SAR 7.34 billion. The number of real estate transactions recorded a decline of 52% in both sectors, as the number of residential transactions reached 14.222 thousand deals, compared to 1.500 thousand deals for the non-residential sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In terms of the number of transactions by property type, land transactions fell by 59% to 7.720k, villas by 36%, apartments by 43%, houses by 23%, and duplexes by 19%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Riyadh was the top region in terms of the number of real estate transactions with a total of 4.773 thousand transactions representing 30% of the total market, followed by Mecca with 3.143 thousand transactions, then the Eastern Province with 2.504 thousand transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The number of rental contracts increased slightly by 0.2% to 228.688K, as residential contracts increased by 1%, while non-residential contracts declined by 2%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
