The average real estate price per square meter fell significantly last week, amid notable changes in the volume and value of transactions across various cities, reflecting volatility in buying and selling activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for Jeddah, it recorded 727 transactions worth more than 1 billion riyals, at an average of 3,346 riyals per square meter, compared with 738 transactions worth 915 million riyals the previous week, at an average price of 3,462 riyals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Severe Turbulence in Mecca and Medina<\/strong>
In Mecca, 166 transactions were completed with a total value of 127 million riyals, at an average price of 1,578 riyals per square meter, compared to a significant jump the previous week, when the average price reached 11,011 riyals per square meter.
Medina, meanwhile, recorded 191 transactions worth 132 million riyals, at an average of 835 riyals per square meter, compared with 230 transactions worth 182 million riyals in the previous week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dammam and Abha: Between Decline and Growth<\/strong>
Dammam saw 141 transactions totaling 152 million riyals, at an average of 74 riyals per square meter, compared to 397 riyals the previous week.
In contrast, Abha saw mixed activity, with 69 transactions totaling 114 million riyals, at an average of 260 riyals per square meter, compared with only 52 transactions the previous week, though at a higher average of 1,994 riyals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Most Active Neighborhoods in the Market<\/strong>
At the neighborhood level, Al-Safa in Jeddah topped the list of most active neighborhoods with 39 transactions, followed by Al-Salamah with 38 transactions, then Al-Sha\u2019la in Dammam with 34 transactions, while Durrat Al-Arous came in with 31 transactions, and Namar in Riyadh ranked fifth with 25 transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
