Officials have completed their preparations for the success of the Hajj season 1447 AH<\/a><\/strong>The plans included a package of integrated services in Makkah and Madinah, including preparing millions of meters of infrastructure and launching a field environmental and health system to ensure the safety of the pilgrims and facilitate their movement with the highest standards of quality and responsiveness.
At the Government 2026 press conference, the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqeel, revealed figures and statistics that confirm the readiness of Integrated services for pilgrims<\/a><\/strong> and visitors in Makkah and the holy sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safe movement of the pilgrims:
<\/strong>\u00a04.6 million square meters of infrastructure.
20 bridges and 18 tunnels to support the flow of movement between emotions.
Raising the readiness of roads, lighting, and storm sewers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A healthy environment that promotes the comfort of pilgrims:
<\/strong>88 thousand cleaning units inside the holy sites.
3,000 vehicles and equipment for cleaning and environmental sanitation work.
1,235 compressor units and 113 ground stores to support operation.
Carrying out environmental sanitation work around the clock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsiveness and quality of service:
<\/strong>Managed more than 29,000 field calls during the season.
Operate a field system with more than 22,000 human resources.
One field staff member for every 76 pilgrims.
Achieve an average response time of 1 minute and 13 seconds.
Prepare an integrated system to deal with emergencies, hazards and shelter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proactive prevention to protect the safety of pilgrims:
<\/strong>66 field service centers.
\u00a028 centers within the holy sites.
5 advanced laboratories to support health surveillance.
More than 2,800 daily inspections of food, water, and utilities.
About 1,300 lab samples are drawn daily to ensure the safety of the services provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Integrated services in Medina:
<\/strong>5,700 employees and workers to serve pilgrims and visitors.
1,200 equipment and machinery to support the operation.
950 signboards.
68,000 linear meters of roads have been prepared.
67,000 square meters of plazas to improve the visitor experience and mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
