Equity funds recorded assets of 36.1 billion riyals, while multi-asset funds had assets of approximately 26.2 billion riyals, followed by debt funds with assets exceeding 22.2 billion riyals.<br>The assets of financing funds amounted to approximately 7.8 billion riyals, while the assets of feeder funds reached 5.8 billion riyals, and money market funds recorded nearly 5 billion riyals. As for venture capital funds, their assets totaled approximately 3.8 billion riyals, while commodity funds recorded assets of approximately 340 million riyals, and endowment funds ranked as the smallest category in terms of asset size, with assets totaling only about 60 million riyals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Growth in the Number of Private Investment Funds<\/strong><br>In a related development, the number of private investment funds saw remarkable growth during the first quarter of 2026, rising to 1,788 funds, compared to 1,318 funds during the same period last year\u2014an increase of 470 funds, equivalent to a year-over-year growth rate of 35.7%.<br>The investor base also continued to expand, with the number of private investment fund subscribers rising to approximately 191,800 by the end of the first quarter of this year, compared to 168,100 during the same period in 2025\u2014an increase of more than 23,700 participants, representing a growth rate of 14.1%\u2014an indicator reflecting the growing demand for private investment instruments in the Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
