Conversely, the number of projects awarded declined to 18 in May, compared to 23 in April, indicating a rise in the average value per project during the month under review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Breakdown of Projects by Sector<\/strong><br>The report indicated that the projects awarded in May were spread across several key sectors, with the infrastructure sector accounting for the largest share at 25.447 billion riyals\u2014representing approximately 55% of the total value\u2014across 10 projects. It came <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/103105\/\">Building and Construction Sector <\/a><\/strong>Next was the construction sector, with a value of 3.862 billion riyals spread across 3 projects, accounting for 17% of the total value, followed by the industrial sector with a value of 337.5 million riyals across 3 projects, accounting for 17%. The water and energy sector also recorded two projects worth 390 million riyals, equivalent to 11% of the total projects allocated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Details of the Sub-Sectors<\/strong><br>The report noted the diversity of the projects in terms of type, which included 4 wastewater and waste treatment plants worth 900 million riyals, three public service facilities worth 735 million riyals, and three warehouse and workshop projects worth 337.5 million riyals. The projects also included two road and bridge projects with a massive value of 23.625 billion riyals, and two power substation projects worth 390.187 million riyals. The contract awards also included a residential project worth 3.3 billion riyals, a commercial project worth 375 million riyals, a recreational facilities project worth 187.5 million riyals, and a water pipeline project of the same value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Geographic Distribution of Projects<\/strong><br>At the regional level, the Makkah region topped the list of projects in May with 7 projects, while the Eastern Province and the Riyadh region tied for second place with 4 projects each. The regions of Ha\u2019il, Madinah, and Asir tied for third place with one project each.<br>In terms of value, the Asir region ranked first with 18.750 billion riyals, followed by the Riyadh region with 8.737 billion riyals, and then Makkah with 1.635 billion riyals. The Eastern Province ranked fourth with 525 million riyals, followed by Madinah with 202.5 million riyals, and then Ha\u2019il with 187.5 million riyals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Future Project Forecasts<\/strong><br>The report projected the completion of two projects in 2026 with a value of 547.5 million riyals, and two more projects in 2027 worth 375 million riyals, in addition to the completion of eight projects in 2028 with a total value of 24.915 billion riyals.
