<\/a><\/strong>During the first half of 2026, driven by increased trading activity in a number of leading companies. <br>Data from the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) showed that millions of trades were executed on stocks in the sector, with a value exceeding 28.5 billion riyals, amid a clear concentration of liquidity in a limited number of stocks, led by \u201cJabal Omar Development\u201d and \u201dUmm Al-Qura Development and Construction,\u201d which, along with two other companies, accounted for a significant portion of the cash flows directed toward the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3.38 million trades worth 28.5 billion riyals<\/strong><br>Official data released by the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) revealed that 3,380,861 trades were executed on the shares of listed real estate development companies during the first half of 2026, during which 1,695,642,868 shares were traded, with a total value of 28.505 billion riyals.<br>Trading was spread across 17 companies listed on<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/74597\/\"> Real Estate Development<\/a><\/strong>, with clear variations in trading values and volumes, depending on each company\u2019s free-float and the level of investor activity in its shares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u00abJabal Omar\u00bb Leads in Market Capitalization and Trading Volume<\/strong><br>Jabal Omar Development shares maintained their lead in the sector in terms of trading value, after attracting liquidity exceeding 7.71 billion riyals through 444,671 trades, involving more than 498.3 million shares, making it the most actively traded stock in the sector during the first half of the year.<br>Umm Al-Qura Development and Construction came in second place, with a trading value of approximately 3.98 billion riyals, through 378,942 transactions involving 237.3 million shares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Red Sea International came in third with a trading value of 2.239 billion riyals, through 327,332 trades, while Dar Al-Arkan Real Estate Development shares came in fourth with a trading value of 2.214 billion riyals, through 269,282 transactions.<br>These four companies alone accounted for the largest share of total trading volume in the real estate development sector, reflecting investors\u2019 focus on the sector\u2019s leading stocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the next category of most-traded stocks, Retal Urban Development recorded a trading value of 1.875 billion riyals, through more than 333,000 transactions, during which approximately 144.9 million shares were traded.<br>Trading volume in Arab Centers shares reached approximately 1.733 billion riyals, through 252,684 transactions, while Saudi Real Estate shares recorded trading volume of 1.685 billion riyals through 195,536 transactions.<br>As for Knowledge Economic City shares, their trading value reached 1.412 billion riyals through 174,953 transactions, while Makkah Construction and Development shares recorded trading worth 1.292 billion riyals, despite only 167,464 transactions and a volume of 15.3 million shares, reflecting a higher average share price relative to the number of shares traded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Trading Volume Approaches 1 Billion Riyals for a Number of Companies<\/strong><br>The rest of the companies in the sector continued to post strong levels of activity, with trading value in Dar Al-Majidiyah Real Estate shares reaching approximately 912.5 million riyals across 204,939 transactions, involving more than 109.7 million shares.<br>Al-Ramz Real Estate shares recorded trading volume of 758.1 million riyals through 83,315 transactions, while trading volume for Emaar Economic City shares reached approximately 730.5 million riyals, through 159,539 transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taiba Investment shares also recorded trading volume of 690.4 million riyals, through 107,953 transactions, while trading volume for Riyadh Construction shares reached approximately 613 million riyals through 141,755 transactions.<br>As for Sumo Real Estate shares, trading volume totaled 500.3 million riyals, with 72,145 transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u00abAl-Andalus\u00bb and \u00abBanan\u00bb Have the Lowest Liquidity<\/strong><br>At the other end of the spectrum, Al-Andalus Real Estate ranked among the companies with the lowest trading value during the first half of the year, after its shares recorded a trading value of only 91.3 million riyals through 33,597 transactions, involving the trading of approximately 5.9 million shares.<br>Banan Real Estate came in last on the list, with trading value for its shares reaching 65.8 million riyals across 33,205 transactions, and more than 19.5 million shares traded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
