having recorded a sharp increase in the volume of foreign direct investment during 2025, according to the latest report issued by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).<br>The report revealed that the value of inflows <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/90925\/\">Foreign investment <\/a><\/strong>Direct investment in the Kingdom rose to $33 billion in 2025, compared to approximately $21 billion in 2024, marking a year-over-year growth of 57.1%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This performance has strengthened Saudi Arabia\u2019s position among the top destinations for capital, as it moved up four spots in the global rankings to rank 13th among the largest economies receiving foreign direct investment, up from 17th the previous year.<br>The report attributed this growth to the continued strength of the energy and infrastructure sectors, as well as the progress made by economic diversification programs, which have helped boost the competitiveness of the Saudi market and increase the confidence of international investors, The Kingdom also played a prominent role in supporting the growth of investment flows to the Gulf region and West Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the same time, the report noted that Saudi Arabia did not merely attract investments, but has also strengthened its presence as a major source of capital directed toward foreign markets, capitalizing on the strength of its sovereign wealth funds and investment institutions, which continue to finance strategic projects in a number of global markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report also highlighted a project <a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/106909\/\">Real estate development <\/a>The project, which is being implemented by Dar Al-Arkan in the Sultanate of Oman and is valued at approximately $4.2 billion, is considered one of the ten largest new investment projects
