It also declined <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/105868\/\">Cement sales <\/a><\/strong>Domestic production fell by 2.4% to 25.1 million metric tons, compared with 25.7 million metric tons during the same period in 2025, while exports fell by 22.6% to 3.1 million metric tons, compared to about 4 million metric tons a year ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al-Yamama Cement maintained its leading position in the domestic market during the first half of 2026 with sales of 3.9 million metric tons, accounting for 15.4% of total domestic sales, followed by Saudi Cement Company with sales of 2.9 million metric tons and a market share of 11.5%, and then Eastern Cement with approximately 1.5 million metric tons, representing 6.1% of the market.<br><br><strong>Saudi Cement Exports<\/strong><br>In the export sector, Saudi Cement Company topped the list of exporters with total shipments of 1.2 million metric tons during the first half of the year, accounting for 37.7% of the sector\u2019s total exports, followed by Yanbu Cement Company with exports of 858,000 metric tons and a share of 27.8%, and then Southern Cement with approximately 371,000 metric tons, representing 12% of total exports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This performance follows a strong year for the sector in 2025, as domestic sales by cement companies rose by approximately 11% compared to 2024, while production increased by 10.4%. and exports rose by approximately 19.7%, driven by the accelerated activity of major projects linked to Saudi Vision 2030, along with continued growth in the real estate sector and rising regional demand for Saudi cement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Reading time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> 2<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">Minutes<\/span><\/span>Saudi cement companies posted mixed results in June 2026, benefiting from improved domestic demand following the Hajj season, which was reflected in higher sales and production, while exports continued to decline, affected by weak demand in regional markets and geopolitical tensions.
