He indicated that the number of contractors officially registered with the Saudi Contractors Authority reached approximately 117,000 contractors, reflecting the expansion of the sector and the growing opportunities available to eligible entities to participate in national projects.

Empowering entrepreneurs with promising opportunities
<\/strong>This came during the opening session of the \u201cProperty and Contracting Week\u201d events, organized by the General Authority for SMEs \u201cMansat\u201d in partnership with the General Authority for Real Estate and the Saudi Contractors Authority, from July 12 to 16, 2026, as part of the \u201cBusiness Weeks\u201d series, with the aim of enabling entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium-sized enterprises to take advantage of the promising opportunities in the real estate and contracting sectors, connect them with potential partners, financing solutions, and quality partnerships.
Al-Ajlan explained that building competencies, governance, safety, and digital transformation represent the fundamental pillars for enhancing the readiness of small and medium-sized enterprises and enhancing their competitiveness, stressing that partnerships and alliances contribute to expanding their growth opportunities and increasing their participation in major projects.

Implementing targeted initiatives and programs
<\/strong>He pointed out that the Saudi Contractors Authority continues to implement initiatives and programs aimed at improving the efficiency of Saudi contractors and enhancing the sustainability of their business, noting that one of the most prominent challenges facing some small and medium-sized enterprises is the poor project feasibility study, inaccurate pricing, and poor management of cash flows, calling on entrepreneurs to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the sector.
The first day\u2019s activities witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between \u201cManashat\u201d and the Saudi Contractors Authority, aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in the construction sector through the provision of joint services and programs, and enhancing the integration between the parties\u2019 programs and platforms, which will contribute to improving the readiness of the enterprises, supporting their growth, and enabling them to take advantage of the opportunities available in the sector.

40 entities from the public and private sectors
<\/strong>More than 40 entities from the public and private sectors participated in the specialized sessions and meetings on the first day, discussing investment opportunities in the real estate and contracting sectors, enabling small and medium-sized enterprises to benefit from development projects, and enhancing their participation in supply chains, alongside reviewing financing solutions, real estate technologies, strategic partnerships, and best practices supporting the growth and sustainability of enterprises.

The week is held at the facilities support centers in Riyadh and Madinah, the cities of Jeddah and Khobar, and its activities are held in Abha City in cooperation with the Development Authority of the Asir Region and the \u201cRuk Korner\u201d incubator, and in Skaaka City in cooperation with the House of Culture, thus expanding the scope of benefiting from its activities in various regions of the Kingdom.
