These figures come at a time when the largest proportion of the sector\u2019s workforce is concentrated in the Riyadh, Eastern, and Makkah regions, which together account for the largest share of total employees in the Kingdom\u2019s construction sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fourth-Ranked City in Terms of Project Value<\/strong><br>The report confirmed that the total value of projects implemented in Madinah reached 33.5 billion riyals in 2025, placing the region fourth among the Kingdom\u2019s regions in terms of the scale of projects implemented, after Riyadh, the Eastern Province, and Makkah.<br>The report noted that the Riyadh and Eastern regions alone accounted for nearly two-thirds of the value of projects implemented in the Kingdom during the year, while the remaining portion was distributed among the other regions, including Madinah, which continued to strengthen its contribution to national construction activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Leading in the Number of Projects<\/strong><br>Medina\u2019s distinction was not limited to the value of its projects; it also emerged as one of the most active regions in terms of the number of projects implemented. It ranked second in the Kingdom after Riyadh, recording 119 projects in 2025, compared to 128 projects in Riyadh.<br>Medina also outperformed the Eastern Province, which recorded 96 projects, and Mecca, which had 71 projects, reflecting the broad scope of construction and development activities in the region.
