The data was based on the Real Estate Registry, the Ministry of Justice, the Ejar Network, and the Real Estate Brokerage Program of the General Real Estate Authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>First: Trading in Real Estate Assets <\/strong><br>Data for June 2026 indicated growth in real estate transaction activity compared to May 2026. The number of residential transactions rose to 19,844, representing a monthly increase of 17% and a yearly increase of 18%. The number of non-residential transactions also rose to 2,130, representing a monthly increase of 10% and a yearly increase of 21%.<br>In terms of real estate transaction value, the value of residential transactions stabilized at approximately 15.02 billion riyals, with a monthly growth of 6%, while the value of non-residential transactions rose by 24% year-over-year and 2% month-over-month, reaching approximately 8.65 billion riyals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The average traded area for residential properties was 412 square meters, showing virtually no change on a monthly basis but a slight year-over-year increase of 1%, while the average traded area for non-residential properties was 31,119 square meters, marking a monthly increase of 17% despite a year-over-year decline of 13%.<br>The average value of residential transactions fell to approximately 706,000 riyals, marking a monthly decline of 1% and an annual decline of 7%, while the average value of a non-residential transaction fell to approximately 1.89 million riyals, down 11% month-over-month and 19% year-over-year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Second: The Rental Market<\/strong><br>Data on the rental market for June 2026 showed that the number of residential lease agreements rose to 261,363, representing a monthly increase of 10% and a yearly increase of 42%. The value of transactions also rose to 1.16 billion riyals, marking a monthly increase of 1,14%, despite a year-over-year decline of 14%.<br>The average traded area was 255 square meters, down 27% month-over-month and 36% year-over-year, while the average transaction value was 727,730 riyals, down 8% month-over-month and 34% year-over-year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fourth: The Areas with the Highest Real Estate Sales Activity<\/strong><br>The Riyadh region led in the number of real estate transactions in June 2026, with 5,437 transactions, accounting for 24.74% of the total transactions. The Makkah region ranked second with 4,870 transactions, accounting for 22.16%, followed by the Eastern Province with 3,504 transactions, accounting for 15.95%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Al-Qassim region also recorded 1,829 transactions, representing 8.32%, and the Asir region recorded 1,389 transactions, representing 6.32%.<br>The total number of transactions across the five regions reached approximately 17,029, representing 77.50% of the total real estate transactions during June 2026.<br>In terms of value, the Riyadh region led the way with transactions totaling 8.04 billion riyals, representing 33.97% of the total value, followed by the Makkah region with 6.45 billion riyals, representing 27.25%, then the Eastern Province with a value of 3.20 billion riyals, representing 13.53%.<br>The Asir region recorded a transaction value of 2.75 billion riyals, representing 11.63%, while the transaction value in the Madinah region reached 1.12 billion riyals, representing 4.72%.<br>The total value of transactions in the five regions reached approximately 21.56 billion riyals, representing 91.10% of the total value of real estate transactions in June 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fifth: The Areas with the Highest Rental Activity<\/strong><br>The Riyadh region led in the number of rental transactions in June 2026, with 127,804 transactions, representing 32.82% of the total. Makkah came in second with 104,767 transactions, accounting for 26.91%, followed by the Eastern Province with 61,397 transactions, accounting for 15.77%.<br>Medina also recorded 24,309 trades, representing 6.24%, while Asir recorded 17,595 trades, representing 4.52%.<br>The total number of lease transactions across the five regions reached 335,872, representing 86.26% of the total lease transactions.<br>In terms of value, Riyadh led with 3.79 billion riyals, representing 42.95% of the total, followed by Makkah with 2.51 billion riyals, accounting for 28.43%, then the Eastern Province with 1.10 billion riyals, accounting for 12.47%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The value of lease transactions in Madinah reached 496.02 million riyals, representing 5.62%, and in Asir, 242.75 million riyals, representing 2.75%.<br>The total value of lease transactions in the five regions reached 8.15 billion riyals, representing 92.22% of the total value of lease transactions in June 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sixth: Real Estate Brokerage Licenses and Activities<\/strong><br>The Property Management Department issued 167 permits in June 2026, representing a monthly growth of 20% and an annual growth of 45%, while the Utilities Department issued 24 permits, representing a monthly increase of 14% and a yearly increase of 33%.<br>In the real estate brokerage and marketing sector, the number of individual licenses rose to 5,533, representing a monthly increase of 6% and an annual increase of 55%. The number of business licenses also rose to 2,084, representing a monthly growth of 30% and an annual growth of 41%.<br>As for real estate consulting and analysis, the number of individual licenses reached 10, representing a monthly increase of 11%, despite a year-over-year decline of 38%, while the number of licenses issued to businesses fell to one, representing a monthly decline of 80% and an annual decline of 86%.<br>In the real estate auction sector, the number of construction permits rose to 89, representing a monthly increase of 51% and an annual increase of 154%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>VII. Real Estate Brokerage Contracts<\/strong><br>The number of brokerage contracts for individual sellers reached 340, marking a monthly decline of 10% and a yearly increase of 30%, while contracts for businesses fell to 319, marking a monthly decline of 17% and a yearly increase of 7%.<br>In lease brokerage, the number of contracts for individuals rose to 274, representing a monthly increase of 23% and an annual increase of 11%, Contracts for businesses also rose to 303, representing a monthly increase of 20%, despite a year-over-year decline of 3%.<br>As for marketing brokerage contracts, the number for individuals rose to 1,885 contracts, representing a monthly increase of 11% and an annual increase of 16%, while contracts for institutions fell to 10,256, marking a monthly decline of 14% and an annual increase of 3%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In real estate brokerage and sales, the number of contracts for individuals reached 6,386, marking a monthly decline of 11% and a year-over-year increase of 46%, while contracts for commercial properties fell to 8,956, a monthly decrease of 12% but an annual increase of 21%.<br>The number of marketing and leasing brokerage contracts for individuals also rose to 3,502, representing a monthly increase of 2% and a yearly increase of 15%, while contracts for commercial properties fell to 9,327, marking a monthly decline of 2% but an annual increase of 12%.<br>In the auction sector, the number of construction contracts rose to 331, representing a monthly increase of 41% and a yearly increase of 26%.<br>As for other contracts (tenant, buyer, consulting), individual contracts fell to 313, marking a monthly decline of 33% and a year-over-year increase of 9%, Contracts for businesses also fell to 758, a monthly decrease of 10% and an annual increase of 40%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Eighth: Real Estate Listings<\/strong><br>The number of for-sale listings rose to 21,567 in June 2026, representing a monthly increase of 8% and a year-over-year increase of 30%.
