Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister \u2014may God protect them both\u2014on the occasion of the Cabinet\u2019s approval of the amendment to Cabinet Decision No. (200) regarding<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/108383\/\"> Development of Land Planned and Designated for Housing Support Programs<\/a><\/strong>; thereby strengthening the partnership with the private sector, increasing the housing supply, and providing housing units for beneficiaries of the Developmental Housing Program.<br><br>His Excellency explained that the approval is an extension of the support provided by the wise leadership \u2014may God support them\u2014for the housing sector, as well as its commitment to developing solutions that help accelerate the provision of housing for beneficiaries of developmental housing and enhance the efficient use of land allocated for this purpose.<br>He explained that the amendment allows investors to develop zoned land and construct housing units for beneficiaries of the Developmental Housing Program in exchange for ownership of a percentage of the land, thereby helping to improve development efficiency, accelerate project implementation, and increase the housing supply.<br><br>He noted that this approach supports the provision of housing units with complete infrastructure and superstructure for eligible families and promotes private-sector participation in the implementation of developmental housing projects.<br>He emphasized that the amendment reinforces the Ministry\u2019s efforts to diversify housing options for beneficiaries of developmental housing programs and supports the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 aimed at increasing the rate of home ownership among citizens and strengthening the social protection system.<br><br>His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing stated that the ministry will announce the implementing regulations for
