Revealed Ministry of Municipalities and Housing<\/a><\/strong> The total area of undeveloped land that has entered development or been put on the market in the Al-Qassim region amounted to approximately 15 million square meters, a result that reflects the impact of implementing the system Fees for Vacant Land and Vacant Properties <\/a><\/strong>To stimulate urban development, improve land-use efficiency within urban areas, and increase the supply of real estate and housing in the region.
The ministry clarified that the registered areas included 606,000 square meters of land whose development has been completed, 6 million square meters of undeveloped land that has entered the market, and 8 million square meters still under development, which supports the conversion of unused land into functional urban projects and developments.
She explained that revenue from vacant land fees has helped fund five housing and infrastructure projects in the Al-Qassim region, reinforcing the policy of directing fee revenues toward projects that serve urban development, support the improvement of the urban environment, and meets the needs of population and urban growth in the region\u2019s cities and provinces.
The ministry emphasized that these results are a continuation of ongoing efforts aimed at regulating the real estate market, stimulating land development within cities, and promoting a balance between supply and demand, in addition to improving the efficiency of land investment and increasing the supply of urban and residential properties.

She noted that the program for levying fees on vacant land and vacant properties continues to play a role in stimulating development by imposing fees on land located within the geographic areas specified by regulation, and that the Real Estate Developers Services Center \u201cEtmam\u201d continues to provide support to owners White land <\/strong>Through an integrated digital system comprising more than 35 services that cover various stages of development, it provides clear and streamlined pathways for obtaining permits and approvals and coordinating with relevant authorities, thereby enhancing the efficiency of project implementation within urban areas.
