Announced Public Authority for Real Estate<\/a><\/strong>As the deadline approaches for the initial in-kind registration of real estate for 142 parcels in 12 neighborhoods in the Makkah Region\u2014including 10 neighborhoods in the city of Makkah and two neighborhoods in the Jeddah Governorate\u2014 Meanwhile, the initial real estate registration process for 62 parcels in one neighborhood in the Eastern Province will conclude by the end of Thursday, 30 Safar 1448 AH, corresponding to August 13, 2026 AD.

The Commission stated that Real estate registration <\/a><\/strong>Registration will end in the following neighborhoods in the city of Makkah: (part of Al-Furqan neighborhood, part of Al-Maqam neighborhood, part of Ja'rana neighborhood, part of Al-Fath neighborhood, part of Al-Naqa Al-Jadid neighborhood), while registration will end in the following neighborhoods in the Jeddah Governorate: (part of Taybah neighborhood, part of Al-Riyadh neighborhood).

Call for Landowners to Register Promptly
<\/strong>The Authority called on owners of properties located within the designated real estate districts to promptly register their properties through the Real Estate Registry platform (rer.sa) before the registration deadline expires, in order to benefit from services related to the execution of real estate transactions and the documentation of all changes affecting the property.
She explained that the Land Registry will issue a \u201cproperty number\u201d and a title deed for each real estate unit that is registered, and the new title deed includes the exact geographical location of the property, its owner's data, descriptions, condition, rights and obligations, and all real estate transactions that occur on it; to be the basis for documenting ownership and the real estate rights resulting from it, which contributes to the sustainability and enhancement of the real estate sector and its key enablers.
The \u201cReal Estate Authority\u201d emphasized that failure to register real estate within the period specified in the announcement exposes owners to the financial penalties set forth in the Real Estate Registration System, as determined by a committee authorized to review violations, and that applications for real estate registration will continue to be accepted in all designated areas even after the registration period specified in the announcement has ended.
