The discussion also addressed the importance of equipping municipal inspectors with the tools to verify the practical application of Saudi architectural design guidelines, and raising awareness of the importance of adhering to them during all phases of building construction. This will enhance the quality of design and execution and preserve the region&#039;s architectural characteristics.<br><br>The workshop comes as part of the efforts of the Strategic Office for the Development of the Jazan Region, represented by the Jazan Region Design Studio, to support the development of the urban landscape in the region, based on local identity, and combining the requirements of urban development with the preservation of the urban heritage, in a way that contributes to building a higher quality and more sustainable urban environment, and enhances the attractiveness of the
