The workshop targeted a number of specialists and executive leaders from the partner entities through a four-month specialized training course that covered a number of topics related to urban planning and development and enhancing the integration between the relevant entities.<br><br>The workshop reviewed the systems and legislations related to planning and urban development, the role of the transportation, services, and logistics systems in supporting development in the region, as well as discussing the extent to which current legislation aligns with the development trends and objectives of the region.<br>She also touched upon ways to enhance integration between ports, airports, road networks, production areas, services, and urban centers, which supports the direction of urban and economic growth and improves the efficiency of the planning and development system in the region.<br><br>The implementation of the workshops comes under the direction and supervision of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, Amir of the Jazan Region and Chairman of the Strategic Committee for the Development of the Region, as part of the \u201cTransfer of Knowledge\u201d program implemented by the Strategic Committee to build national capacity and enhance integration among the various parties, which contributes to supporting the comprehensive and sustainable development goals in the region.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"span-reading-time rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">Reading time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\"> &lt; 1<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">Minute<\/span><\/span>The Strategic Office for the Development of the Jazan Region concluded the final workshop within the \u201cBuilding and Developing National Capacities in the Field of Urban Planning\u201d knowledge transfer program, aimed at improving the quality of urban planning and enhancing the efficiency of planning practices in the region, in cooperation with a number of related government and quasi-governmental agencies.
