Launched Saudi Council of Engineers<\/a><\/strong> The \u201cQaim\u201d program aims to assess the capabilities of engineering offices and companies, measure their readiness level, and support them in identifying opportunities to develop their performance and enhance their competitiveness in the engineering market.
The \u201cQaim\u201d program is based on an accredited methodology and professional standards for evaluating the capabilities of offices andEngineering companies<\/a><\/strong> In specific areas and scopes of work, based on documented and verifiable evidence; which contributes to forming a clear picture of the organization\u2019s capabilities, identifying strengths and opportunities for development, and building a path for improvement and advancement of performance.

Nine key criteria
<\/strong>The program relies on nine key criteria that include: previous experience, human resources, quality and sustainability, occupational safety and health, innovation and digitalization, training and professional development, governance, commitment and compliance, localization and local content; providing an integrated assessment of the facility\u2019s readiness level and its technical, institutional and operational capabilities.
The evaluation journey passes through interconnected stages, starting with defining the engineering field and scope of service, processing the required documentation, then submitting the application and conducting the self-evaluation, followed by reviewing the documentation, assessing the criteria, and calculating the result according to the approved methodology, leading to issuing the readiness level and improvement roadmap that helps the organization identify the development priorities and enhance its capabilities.

The Secretary-General of the Saudi Engineering Council, Assistant Engineer Abdullah Al-Attibi, said: \u201cThe \u201cQaim\u201d program is part of the council\u2019s efforts to support the development of engineering offices and companies, and provide a clear framework that helps them evaluate their capabilities and identify opportunities for improvement,\u201d stressing that the program contributes to building clearer development paths, enhancing the readiness of facilities, and enhancing the quality of engineering practice.
He explained that the program supports facilities in forming a more accurate picture of their capabilities and readiness levels, and in determining development priorities based on their needs and capabilities, which will reflect on the efficiency of their performance and the quality of engineering services.

The Authority called on engineering offices and companies to take advantage of the \u201cQaim\u201d program and consult the program\u2019s guide to learn about the evaluation criteria, methodology, and requirements for participation, and to begin evaluating their capabilities and identifying the priorities for their development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
