The Hotel Equipment Exhibition Saudi Arabia 2016 concluded its activities on Thursday, May 19, after a three-day session at the Jeddah Center for Forums and Events, under the patronage of His Highness Prince Abdullah bin Saud bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Chairman of the Tourism Committee at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who graced the opening ceremony with Mohammed Abdullah Al Omari, Director General of the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage in the Makkah and Jeddah region.<\/p>\n
Exceptional growth in the hotel sector and services<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n During the opening ceremony, which was attended by a large number of hospitality and tourism professionals, Mr. Gary Williams, Director of Hotel Equipment Saudi Arabia 2016, co-organized by \u00a0<\/strong>Williams described the Hotel Show as a must-attend event for hospitality professionals looking to establish a tangible presence in the Kingdom. Unity, a leading provider of guest access and electronic security systems based in Spain, chose the Saudi Arabia Hotel Equipment Show as a platform to launch its innovative smart bracelet - Kyung - which allows hotel guests to make payments and access rooms and other access-controlled areas, Samsung introduced a new hospitality management solution called Link HMS Solutions that allows in-room TVs to act as a central control unit for guests to customize lighting, temperature and other factors, while allowing the hotel to send them personalized notifications.<\/p>\n Interior design and hotel fittings<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n For its part, LG Electronics unveiled \u201cInnovative Display Technologies,\u201d which includes a 7-foot, 86-inch ultra-high-definition \u201cultra-stretch\u201d signage display.
