His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities and Housing and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Real Estate, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, announced the issuance of more than two million real estate records; a step that reflects the progress in implementing the system Real estate registration<\/a><\/strong>This coincides with the expansion of the scope of real estate areas announced for registration to include more than 5 million properties in various regions of the Kingdom, according to the registration stages and dates specified for each region, as part of the Authority\u2019s efforts to enhance the reliability of real estate ownership, preserve rights, and raise the efficiency of real estate transactions.

He stressed that this achievement embodies the Kingdom\u2019s commitment to developing a reliable real estate sector, and reflects the role of the Real Estate Registry as a strategic platform that supports digital transformation and enhances the status of real estate as a national economic pillar.

Al-Haqil explained that the real estate registration system represents a qualitative leap that preserves the history of real estate in accurate records that include its descriptions, legal and material status and geospatial locations, in line with the best global practices in building smart cities and sustainable urban communities.

He stated that the next phase will witness expansion in all cities and regions of the Kingdom and an expansion of the scope of digital services, ensuring a smooth and secure experience for owners, investors and beneficiaries, enhancing the Kingdom\u2019s position as a global real estate investment destination, and consolidating the competitiveness of the Saudi real estate sector at the regional and international levels.<\/p>\n\n\n

For his part, the CEO of the General Authority for Real Estate, Engineer Abdullah Al-Hammad, affirmed that reaching this level of real estate registration reflects the maturity of the regulatory system of the real estate sector and its ability to translate legislation into a tangible effect that preserves rights and raises the efficiency of the market.

He explained that the real estate registration will expand across the Kingdom\u2019s regions, thereby strengthening confidence in real estate transactions, enhancing the sector\u2019s attractiveness to local and international investors, and making reliability and transparency a fundamental pillar in the future of the real estate sector.

For his part, the CEO of the National Company for Real Estate Registration Services \u201cReal Estate Registry\u201d, Dr. Muhammad Al-Sulaiman, confirmed that registering two million properties in a short period is a qualitative leap towards achieving the goals of the Real Estate Registry, which keep pace with the Kingdom\u2019s ambitions to achieve economic diversification and enhance the position of the Saudi real estate sector. He pointed out that every real estate registry issued combines the legal force of the deed through its absolute validity that it acquires during a year, and the real estate record that preserves the accurate geospatial data of the property and its history, which shortens the beneficiary\u2019s journey and raises the level of certainty in transactions.
