The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing announced that 90,836 Saudi families have moved into their first home since the beginning of 2026 until the end of September, as an extension of its efforts to support housing stability for Saudi families and facilitate their access to suitable housing, by providing diverse housing and financing options that meet their needs and aspirations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ministry explained that the total number of families benefiting from housing support services from the beginning of this year until the end of September reached 73,614 families, while the number of beneficiaries during the month of September reached 10,421 beneficiaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She indicated that the total number of subsidized contracts signed since the launch of the \u201cSakani\u201d program in 2017 until the end of September 2026 amounted to 1,068,787 contracts, noting that the Riyadh region topped the list of subsidized contracts signed during the month of September with a rate of 20%, followed by the Makkah region with a rate of 17%, and then the Eastern region with a rate of 12%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She added that the \u201cSakani\u201d program continues to provide options that include ready-made housing units, units under construction within off-plan sales projects (units under construction), self-build, and residential lands, to give Saudi families greater flexibility in choosing the housing solution that suits their needs and capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ministry pointed to the role of partnership with real estate developers in diversifying the housing supply and developing neighborhoods where basic services, public facilities, parks and green spaces are available, to create integrated residential environments that support the stability of families and improve their quality of life inside and around the home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00a0The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing reaffirmed its commitment to continuing to work towards achieving the objectives of the Housing Program - one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030 - by raising the percentage of Saudi families owning homes to 70% by 2030, through increasing the housing supply and expanding housing and financing options to meet the needs of families in various regions of the Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
