The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has adopted new regulations to organize real estate transactions on lands subject to white land fees, in implementation of Cabinet Resolution No. (263) dated 12\/3\/1448 AH, with the aim of regulating real estate transactions on lands covered by the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The regulations include organizing the restriction of real estate transactions on lands subject to white land fees, in addition to identifying the cases that are not covered by the restriction of ownership transfer, thus setting a clear framework for real estate transactions related to these lands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the ministry, the regulations aim to ensure that fees due on lands subject to the system are collected, and to promote compliance with paying them before documenting transactions transferring ownership, as well as to regulate real estate transactions in a way that supports land development and investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These measures come within the framework of regulating the white land market and linking real estate transactions to outstanding financial obligations, which enhances the efficiency of applying fees and supports encouraging landowners to develop and benefit from their land.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
