The results of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry elections for its 17th term, announced a short while ago, showed that Ajlan Al-Ajlan swept the merchants\u2019 list, receiving 910 votes, followed by Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Ajlan with 728 votes, and Saleh\u00a0Al-Othaim in third place with 681 votes, followed by Aaid Al-Wabri with 526 votes, Saud Al-Nafai, and Mansour bin Abdullah Al-Shatri, who received 380 votes.<\/p>\n
The list of industrialists is led by Saad Mohammed Al-Ajlan (709 votes), Khalid Abdullah Al-Juraisi (664 votes), and Mohammed Fahd Al-Hammadi (592 votes), Rakan bin Mohammed Abunyan (432 votes), Ahmed Suleiman Al-Rajhi (408), and Osama Abdulaziz Al-Zamil (395 votes).<\/p>\n
It should be noted that 77 candidates\u2014both men and women\u2014initially ran for election; this number was reduced to 59 on the final list. Twelve candidates were elected\u2014six from the industrialists\u2019 list and six from the merchants\u2019 list.
