In order to enhance the efforts of tourist accommodation services in all local tourism cities, the branch of the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage in Taif granted 190 licenses for new (furnished) tourist housing units throughout the governorate, according to a report issued by the authority. Taif is considered the capital of the Arab resort cities after winning the title for the third time by the specialists of the Arab Tourism Organization, and includes a series of hotels, apartment buildings, furnished suites, villas, motels, tourist resorts and rural lodges that provide tourists with wide options of tourist housing in different categories and levels that suit the taste of the Saudi, Gulf and Arab tourists and vacationers.<\/p>\n
During the last three years, investment in tourist accommodation facilities in the governorate has recorded remarkable growth in light of the high revenues of this type of investment and the high economic feasibility, given the remarkable tourist demand for the City of Roses, the growth of development and development projects aimed at enhancing the infrastructure of services such as roads, bridges, tunnels, a new international airport, industrial, tourism and economic cities, the multiplicity of events, festivals and exhibitions, and the wide participation of the private sector in entering into projects with the public sector to support the services provided to residents and visitors.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, the Authority's branch in Taif intensified its monitoring tours during these days to control violations of tourism activities, especially the tourist accommodation sector, to ensure licensing, classification and the level of service provided, address observations and apply regulations and instructions to the observed violations, and the tours included travel and tourism agencies and tour operators to control any violations.<\/p>\n
