\n The 16th Riyadh International Real Estate and Urban Development Exhibition (Restatex 16) will be held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Shuwaish bin Saud Al-Duwaihi, Minister of Housing, on Sunday, April 28th until May 1st.
\n The exhibition includes a wide range of real estate, housing and investment opportunities offered by leading development, housing and financing companies and leading banks, whose pavilions and offers cover all the halls of the exhibition center (15,000 square meters), which will allow visitors to the exhibition, as usual, a variety of housing projects and new financing programs in the Saudi market. In addition to Gulf real estate offers and investments participating in this exhibition, which is the largest in the Kingdom.<\/p>\n
Objectives of the exhibition
\nThe Riyadh Real Estate and Urban Development Exhibition \u201cRestatex\u201d aims to gather leaders, real estate decision makers, media and visitors to the exhibition site from various real estate, investment and social sectors and show the size of real estate projects and services in the Kingdom, where the exhibition highlights housing, real estate financing and installment offers, with the participation of a leading selection of companies in various real estate, financing, development and service sectors.
\nThe exhibition also provides the opportunity to meet and consult with the heads and representatives of Saudi and Gulf real estate companies, in the presence of senior officials from the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Riyadh Municipality, concerned authorities and bodies, heads of real estate committees, and those interested in the real estate and urban sector.
\nAmong the topics discussed at the exhibition are the role and responsibilities of the concerned government sectors in the development of vacant land in the regions of the Kingdom with the participation of private sector organizations, the strategic plan for the development of the Riyadh region, the advantages and opportunities for partnership and merger between large real estate companies in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and successful international experiences in financing housing projects for middle and low-income people, the exhibition also reviews the advantages and opportunities for partnership and merger between large real estate companies in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.<\/p>\n
Housing Movement
\nRestatex 16 comes as the Kingdom is witnessing a great movement in the field of housing and real estate, thanks to the royal decisions, most notably the royal decision issued last week by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - may God protect him - to approve the decision to hand over all government lands intended for housing, including approved plans for municipal grants that have not completed the delivery of all services and other infrastructure, to the Ministry of Housing to plan and implement infrastructure and then distribute them to citizens according to the eligibility mechanism, provided that the Ministry of Finance allocates the necessary amounts for the implementation of the program.
