His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Interior \u2013 may God protect him \u2013 that the renaissance and prosperity the Kingdom is experiencing have come about through the success of development plans and efforts led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud \u2013 may God protect and preserve him \u2013 and that this has been made possible by the availability of a suitable security environment, without which it would be impossible for development to achieve its goals.<\/p>\n
In his speech on the occasion of National Day, His Highness explained that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia\u2014its leadership, nation, and citizens\u2014is currently rejoicing on this glorious National Day, celebrating its 86th anniversary on the 22nd of Dhu al-Hijjah of this year, 1437 AH. Joining in this celebration are all Arabs and Muslims, as well as the leaders and people of friendly nations. It is an occasion on which everyone recalls the pioneering role of the founder of this great nation, may God have mercy on him, whose blessed efforts have borne fruit in our present reality\u2014security, stability, and development of a nation that occupies a central position in the world and influences its security and stability by virtue of its strategic location, spiritual weight, and economic standing, which have qualified it to be one of the world\u2019s strongest economies and a member of the G20, with a powerful influence on the global economy, shaping its course, and contributing to resolving its challenges.<\/p>\n
The following is the text of His Highness\u2019s speech, titled \u201cThe Homeland of Unity and Unification,\u201d delivered on the occasion of the 86th National Day:<\/p>\n
We praise Allah for what this blessed country is experiencing under the leadership of His Majesty the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud \u2014may God protect and preserve him\u2014in terms of security, safety, peace of mind, development, and prosperity in all aspects of life, by the grace of God and thanks to the foundations upon which its existence was established by His Majesty King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Faisal\u2014may God have mercy on him \u2013 namely, adherence to the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of His Trustworthy Messenger, working to serve Islam, caring for the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors, strengthening Arab and Islamic solidarity, and consolidating international security and peace.<\/p>\n
We have achieved remarkable success both domestically and internationally in combating terrorism, and our efforts are widely recognized and admired.<\/p>\n

In this noble country, the security agencies, with the support, patronage, and guidance of His Majesty the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques\u2014may God protect him\u2014are working to preserve the security and stability that have been achieved, praise be to God, which are rarely matched in any other country in the world. The Saudi security agencies have also achieved remarkable success, both domestically and internationally, in confronting the phenomenon of terrorism that has swept the world. In doing so, the Kingdom has presented a Saudi security model that is appreciated and admired by all, and has become a source of inspiration for many nations in combating terrorism and drying up its ideological and financial sources. Any fair-minded observer can recognize the reality of the security, safety, stability, and prosperity the Kingdom enjoys\u2014a reality whose magnitude and value are magnified when compared to the conditions in many countries in our contemporary world, where chaos, fear, and conflict prevail in ways that endanger people\u2019s lives and security and leads the country into further division and fragmentation.<\/p>\n
Any fair-minded observer recognizes the reality of the security, safety, stability, and prosperity the Kingdom enjoys<\/p>\n
May God preserve the security and safety of this nation under the leadership and care of His Majesty the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques\u2014may God protect him\u2014and may He grant everyone a blessed celebration filled with pride, dignity, and prosperity.<\/p>\n
