\n Qatar Airways, which is set to begin its first phase of operations in Saudi Arabia at the end of this year, is targeting three major cities in the Kingdom: Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam
\n This was revealed by Ali Al Rais, Senior Vice President of Aviation Policy, Trade and Industrial Affairs at Qatar Airways: Qatar Airways will start operating in Saudi Arabia through a Saudi company that will be registered in the country ahead of schedule.
\n Al-Rais pointed out that they are currently working on registering the company and taking official approvals in Saudi Arabia in preparation for its announcement to start operating, adding that the Saudi market is important and we will endeavor to meet the desire of customers. He also pointed out that there is a direct line between Qatar Airways and the General Authority for Civil Aviation to hold continuous meetings and take consultations related to this field.
\n He emphasized that there are a number of tasks that his company plans to carry out after entering Saudi Arabia, and said that ticket prices for Saudi domestic flights will be determined by supply and demand.
\n It is noteworthy that in December 2012, Gulf Air & Partners and Qatar Airways won two airline licenses in Saudi Arabia, and the two winning companies began the final procedures to obtain operating licenses within a period of three to six months, as Qatar Airways presented an advanced offer, through which it focused on providing quality services to passengers in accordance with international standards on domestic and international flights.
