\nUnder the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mishaal bin Majid, Governor of Jeddah, the 22nd edition of the Saudi Construction and Decoration Exhibition 2013 will kick off on April 14 and continue until the 17th of the same month at the Jeddah Forums and Events Center in Jeddah, organized by Al-Harithi Exhibitions Company.
\nThe Saudi Construction and Decoration Exhibition 2013 is one of the largest exhibitions specialized in the construction and decoration sector in the region, as this year's exhibition will witness the participation of more than 250 local and international companies from Turkey - China - UAE - Bahrain - Egypt - Lebanon - Malaysia, in addition to experts and specialists from the government and private sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the construction and decoration sector, as the exhibition will include construction machinery and equipment shows, which is the largest event in the region for heavy construction equipment and machinery, and on the other side includes platforms for hotel and office decoration designs, exterior and natural landscape designs, home design and home design.
\nIn this context, Waleed Saeed Waked, Vice President of Al Harthy Exhibitions, said that this year's exhibition will open wide horizons for parties interested in highlighting the latest developments in the field of building materials and provide a platform for communication, building and strengthening relationships between specialists, decision makers, companies and related parties in the Saudi construction sector.
\nGiven the importance of the exhibition in the development of the national economy and considering that the construction and decoration sector is the fastest growing sector in the Kingdom, second only to oil in the national economy, Waked emphasized that the market share reached 154.4 billion riyals, and is expected to increase with the continued success of the exhibition and expectations of achieving billion dollar investment opportunities.
\nHe pointed out that the great benefit of this major event will benefit a large number of private sector projects, including hotels, schools, hospitals, residential buildings and other projects that keep pace with the Kingdom's population growth.
\nThe exhibition will witness the participation of a large group of experts and specialists in the construction and decoration sector from inside and outside the Kingdom. This year, the exhibition will feature the largest and most modern exhibition in the region for heavy construction equipment and machinery organized by Al Harthy Exhibitions Company in cooperation with CPI, on an area estimated at more than 20,000 m2, providing visitors and participants with a unique platform where manufacturers, distributors, customers, businessmen and specialists meet.
