\n Engineer Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Rasheed, Director General of the Industrial Cities Authority, explained that the authority is working to develop the infrastructure of industrial cities in Saudi Arabia, and has a goal of raising the area of developed industrial land to 160 million square meters in 40 industrial cities by 2015.

\nHe added that the existing development projects in the Kingdom are large, and that they seek to make a large part of these projects locally manufactured, and that they have reached a good stage in this regard, noting that manufacturing industries contribute 15 percent of the industries\u201c income, and that they seek to raise the percentage to 20 percent by 2020.
