When designing the kitchen, we must take into account that the perimeter of the work triangle should be between 3.7 and 6.7 m (if we make a line connecting the sink, oven, and refrigerator, we get this triangle). Make sure that the entry and exit paths from the kitchen do not pass through the work triangle. Make sure that the doors of the cabinets, refrigerator, oven, and all other equipment have doors that open away from the work triangle. Also note that the distance between the lower and upper shelves should not be less than 45 cm and the height of the lower cabinets is 88 cm from the kitchen floor, and this is due to the average height of family members.

\nAs for the kitchen with an area of more than 15 square meters, we can choose an island design This design is a rectangular parallelogram in the form of an island in the middle of the kitchen where the stove, oven, sink, and some units gather, forming a large work surface. The disadvantage of this design is that there is a lot of movement around these units, which results in energy loss.
\nThe peninsula-shaped kitchen can be designed in the kitchens of spacious homes and is similar to an island kitchen with the use of a straight line unit opposite one of the sides of the island in order to focus and reduce the distance of the work triangle, and this design is characterized by its wide aesthetic form.
