The Saudi Export Development Authority revealed that the value of Saudi exports of construction materials reached approximately 16 billion riyals in 2015, with growth of 5% over the past two years, while the authority plans to increase Saudi exports to 50 percent of non-oil GDP by 2030.<\/p>\n
This came during the Authority\u2019s participation in the International Exhibition for Construction and Building \u00abThe Big Five,\u00bb which was recently held in Dubai. The Authority emphasized that the exhibition is considered a global event in the construction and building sector for manufacturers, contractors, project owners, and decision-makers, It also helps introduce the regional construction sector to opportunities for importing Saudi building materials, provides local companies with the chance to learn about future trends in the sector, explore opportunities in international markets, and engage in meetings with target clients.<\/p>\n
The Authority succeeded in showcasing representatives of national companies at the Saudi pavilion and demonstrating their production capabilities, as well as highlighting the quality and competitiveness of Saudi construction products compared to those of other participating countries at the exhibition, Meanwhile, the Saudi pavilion hosted numerous official meetings and gatherings with exhibition participants, including investors, businesspeople, organizations, institutions, and regional and global companies.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
