The studies and designs for the Al-Dahu neighborhood restoration and rehabilitation project, which are being carried out by the Riyadh Development Authority, are nearing completion.
\nThe project aims to preserve the remaining architectural heritage of Riyadh in this neighborhood and to serve as a hub for cultural and commercial activities.
\nThe project includes developing the building code, constructing infrastructure projects, paving streets, sidewalks, and public squares, rebuilding some dilapidated buildings, and modifying the facades of modern buildings to align with the spirit of traditional architecture in the area, as well as the construction of a modern multi-story building to house offices, retail spaces, and parking facilities.
\nThe Al-Dahou neighborhood is located within the Qasr Al-Hakam district, in the area south of Al-Thumairi Street, north of Tariq bin Ziyad Street, and east of Sheikh Muhammad bin Ibrahim Street, This neighborhood is considered one of the last remaining old and historic neighborhoods within the walls of Old Riyadh.
