Al-Ahli Bank has strengthened its partnership with King Abdullah Economic City under an agreement whereby the bank purchased a 28,178-square-meter plot of land in the Industrial Valley, with the aim of building a data center to store customer records with a high level of technical security around the clock. The agreement was signed on behalf of Al-Ahli Bank by Mr. Saeed Al-Ghamdi, CEO of Al-Ahli Commercial Bank, and on behalf of the Economic City by Mr. Fahad Al-Rashid, Managing Director and CEO, in the presence of a group of senior executives from both sides.<\/p>\n
On this occasion, Saeed Al-Ghamdi, CEO of Al-Ahli Commercial Bank, stated: \u201cThe bank\u2019s establishment of a data center and customer records repository in King Abdullah Economic City represents a new qualitative leap in electronic banking that keeps pace with the latest global technological developments in accordance with the highest standards in this field, which will further strengthen the bank\u2019s leadership in electronic banking services.\u201d.<\/p>\n
Fahad Al-Rashid, Managing Director and CEO of King Abdullah Economic City, expressed his delight at the partnership with Al-Ahli Commercial Bank, which is considered one of the largest financial institutions in the Kingdom and the region, Its participation will be a significant addition to the services sector in the Industrial Valley, which offers numerous exclusive benefits, thereby supporting the bank\u2019s strategic plans to develop and diversify its business in the Saudi market and other global markets.<\/p>\n
