\nThe Shura Council approved that the Saudi Industrial Development Fund should review the guarantees, charges, and fees it collects, in a manner that ensures the acceleration and facilitation of the lending mechanism. It approved the necessity of establishing quantitative performance standards for the Fund's work and attaching their results to future reports.
\nHe also agreed, during his discussion of the \u00abFund's\u00bb annual report at its session held recently, that the Fund, with the participation of the relevant entities, should work on preparing a detailed report outlining all obstacles limiting the establishment of industrial projects in all regions of the Kingdom and the role of each entity in addressing those obstacles.
\nThe Shura Council demanded that the \u00abFund\u00ab work to align its lending programs with the industries specified in the National Industrial Strategy in a way that creates more job opportunities for citizens and to include detailed information about that in its reports.<\/p>\n
And he listened to the viewpoint of the Committee on Administration and Human Resources regarding the members' remarks made during the discussion of the annual performance report of the Public Pension Agency for the fiscal year 1433\/1434 AH, which was delivered by the committee chairman, Dr. Mohammed Al-Naji.
\nThe Shura Council agreed that the Public Pension Agency should include its general investment policies in its annual reports, linking them to performance indicators, and that the Agency should work with government entities to complete the building of the database for individual accounts of civilian and military employees currently on the job.
\nIt also voted in favor of the Public Pension Agency preparing its main branches to open women's sections while ensuring privacy in doing so.
\nThe Shura Council appreciated the major developmental projects ordered by King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz in the Two Holy Mosques, including the expansion of the Grand Mosque to increase its capacity to more than 2.5 million worshippers, the expansion of the Mataf (circumambulation area) to accommodate larger numbers of those circumambulating the Ancient House, and the grand expansion of the Prophet's Mosque, which will increase its capacity to more than 1.8 million worshippers.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
