The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia continues to shape its ambitious future by Vision 2030<\/a><\/strong>Based on the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the leadership of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman - may God protect them - who emphasized from the beginning that \u201csuccess stories always start with a vision, and that the most successful visions are those that build on strengths.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Since its launch in 2016, the vision has been a clear roadmap for transformation, based on three main pillars: A vibrant society, a thriving economy, and an ambitious nation. Today, after nine years of hard work, the 2024 Annual Report reflects exceptional successes and promising performance indicators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A paradigm shift and successive achievements<\/strong> The Vision 2030 Annual Report 2024 highlights these achievements, showing that 85% of initiatives are either complete or on track, out of 1502 active initiatives, while 93% of interim performance indicators have exceeded or are close to achieving their targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Early successes exceed expectations<\/strong> The number of tourists exceeded 100 million visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 8 sites have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The number of volunteers increased to 1.2 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Women's participation in the labor market reached 33.5% (against a target of 30%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n The unemployment rate fell to 7%, the vision's primary target, and the Kingdom jumped 32 places in the e-participation index and 30 places in the e-government development index, reaching seventh and sixth place globally, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Renaissance in economy, society and infrastructure In terms of a \u201cvibrant society,\u201d Saudi households' homeownership rate reached 65.4%, the median age rose to 78.8 years, and healthcare services covered 96.4% of the population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In education, four Saudi universities were ranked among the top 500 universities globally, with King Saud University coming in at 90th place, becoming the first Saudi university in the top 100 universities around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Realizing an ambitious nation and an empowered society The Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) has enabled more than 437,000 citizens to enter the labor market in 2024, bringing the number of private sector workers to 2.4 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The proportion of women in middle and senior management positions reached 43.8%, while their participation in the labor market rose to 36%, compared to only 17% in 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Kingdom has recorded unprecedented achievements in digital transformation, ranking first globally in the Internet Users Index, second in the Digital Transformation Index for companies, and second in the use of technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the health sector, SEHA's virtual hospital was recorded as the largest hospital of its kind in the Guinness Book of Records, and seven Saudi hospitals were listed among the top 250 globally.
