To deepen young people\u2019s understanding of banking transactions and the protection of personal information, Saudi banks organized\u2014as part of the activities of their mobile awareness center on financial and banking fraud\u2014a special awareness event and an educational program for children, which included a number of tips and instructions tailored to the level of understanding of children aged 4 to 11, with the aim of encouraging them to exercise greater caution and care in not disclosing their personal information, or their families\u00ab information to strangers or unknown individuals\u2014such as their home address, phone number, family members\u00bb names, and other important personal details that a stranger or unknown person could exploit to harm the child or a family member. This event, held at the Panorama Mall in Riyadh, is part of the Saudi Banks\u00ab sixth \u00bbDon\u2019t Share It\u201d campaign, which was launched last month to raise awareness about financial fraud and ways to prevent it, as well as the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of customers\u2019 personal and banking data. Similar events are expected to be held in shopping malls in other cities across the Kingdom to further the goals of the awareness campaign.
