Abdul Latif bin Abdul Malik Al Sheikh, signed a contract for the King Khalid Road Bridge project at the Suwam al-Ghalal intersection in the Municipality of Ahad Rafidah, valued at 93,965,961 riyals, with a Chinese company for a duration of 720 days.<\/p>\n
The mayor of Ahad Rafidah Province, Muhammad Salem Al-Wadai, expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his trusted Crown Prince for their support in advancing development in the Kingdom and for facilitating all efforts aimed at realizing Vision 2030.<\/p>\n
Al-Wadai explained that the project is considered one of the region\u2019s major projects and serves as a cultural landmark for the city; the bridge is 1,300 meters long, enabling travelers from the governorates of Khamis Mushait and Sarat Abidah to use the bridge more easily and flexibly while complying with traffic regulations. The project also includes two aesthetically pleasing plazas designed to facilitate traffic entry and exit points, making traffic flow more smoothly. Traffic will circulate seamlessly under the bridge for users of the Grain Silos Road and Lazmah Road, and it takes traffic density into account on a regular basis.<\/p>\n
