{"id":20517,"date":"2018-05-02T15:10:15","date_gmt":"2018-05-02T12:10:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.amlak.net.sa\/home\/?p=20517"},"modified":"2018-05-02T15:10:15","modified_gmt":"2018-05-02T12:10:15","slug":"%d8%a8%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%aa%d9%86%d8%b3%d9%8a%d9%82-%d9%85%d8%b9-%d9%88%d8%b2%d8%a7%d8%b1%d8%aa%d9%8a-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b9%d8%af%d9%84-%d9%88%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b4%d8%a4%d9%88%d9%86-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%a8","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/20517\/","title":{"rendered":"In coordination with the Ministries of Justice and Municipal Affairs  \u201cHousing\u201d begins compulsory registration of white lands subject to the fee program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Abdulhamid Al-Hammad, head of the Unregistered Land Fees Sector at the Ministry of Housing, confirmed that the ministry has begun contacting the Ministries of Justice and Municipal and Rural Affairs to register unregistered land subject to the land fees program on a mandatory basis, on behalf of their non-compliant owners, in preparation for imposing the fees.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Hammad said that, according to the implementing regulations, the Land Fees Program is authorized to register the land on behalf of the taxpayer and impose the fee on it, unless the taxpayer registers it directly.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that the maximum penalties will be imposed on owners of unregistered land who have failed to register their properties in the program, as their failure to register the land to date is considered a disregard for the land fee system.<\/p>\n<p>He added that for unregistered land that is registered during the second periodic land fee collection period\u2014due to the owners\u2019 delay in registering it\u2014three bills will be issued: a retroactive bill for the first year\u2019s fees, the fee for the current year, and a fine estimated at 1.5 to 2.5 TP3T of the land\u2019s value.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Hammad noted that these three rates will also apply to those who refuse to register, with the land value assessed at the maximum limit if its boundaries are unknown.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that penalties will also be imposed on landowners who intentionally enter incorrect information regarding the location and boundaries of their land.
