Growth in the Kingdom’s construction sector is driven by the rapid population growth and the Kingdom’s desire to improve the capacity of its social infrastructure.

Reading time: 2 MinutesSaudi Arabia accounted for the largest share in the list of the 100 largest projects in the region, with 36 projects totaling $105.5 billion, followed by Iran in second place with a share of $60.1 billion, while the UAE came in third place with 11 projects totaling $28.3 billion, as of the end of the second quarter of 2014.
