The Ministry of Housing has launched a project comprising 11,705 housing units in the Jeddah Governorate, having signed two agreements with private-sector companies to implement the \u201cRawabi Al-Hijaz\u201d project\u2014which is being built on privately-owned land and comprises 9,502 housing units\u2014 while the second project, \u201cJeddah Airport Housing,\u201d which is being built on land owned by the Ministry, comprises 2,203 housing units. The housing units range from off-plan apartments under construction, with prices ranging from 342,000 to 681,000 riyals, and unit sizes reaching up to 252 square meters.<\/p>\n
During a press conference held to announce the tenth batch, the Ministry of Housing reaffirmed its commitment to fruitful cooperation with qualified real estate developers to help increase the supply of housing units and bolster the housing market, ensuring that companies compete to win the satisfaction of citizens and meet their needs in a manner suited to the local market, while also ensuring the provision of ongoing maintenance services for residential units.<\/p>\n
This comes as an extension of previous agreements signed by the Ministry with a number of qualified developers to construct residential units in various regions of the Kingdom, with 60 projects launched to date, offering more than 90,000 diverse housing units, including villas, apartments, and townhouses, at prices ranging from 250,000 to 750,000 riyals.<\/p>\n
The agreements were signed in the presence of His Excellency Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Housing; Mohammed Saleh Al-Bati, CEO of the National Housing Company; and a number of officials from the Ministry of Housing and the Real Estate Development Fund.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
