With the attendance and participation of Essam Al-Mubarak, Governor of the General Real Estate Authority, and members of the Real Estate and Urban Development Committee, the General Real Estate Authority, in cooperation with the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce, organized a workshop to discuss the regulations governing the activities of real estate offices and companies in the Kingdom, review the current regulations, and assess the need to update them in line with the requirements and needs of the current phase. The workshop was attended by a large number of individuals interested in real estate, industry professionals, real estate brokers, developers, and representatives of financial institutions in the region.<\/p>\n
Abdulhakim Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce, explained that the workshop aims to examine and identify the challenges facing those involved in the real estate sector, and to clarify their rights and the obligations of real estate companies and agencies regarding the terms and regulations governing real estate brokerage and other real estate services that these agencies and companies may provide.<\/p>\n
Al-Khalidi noted that the workshop provided a good opportunity to learn about the General Real Estate Authority and its role in carrying out its regulatory and supervisory functions in the real estate sector, with the aim of developing the sector, improving its efficiency, encouraging investment in it, and protecting the rights of those involved in it.<\/p>\n
