{"id":22726,"date":"2018-11-27T09:47:05","date_gmt":"2018-11-27T06:47:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.amlak.net.sa\/home\/?p=22726"},"modified":"2018-11-27T09:47:05","modified_gmt":"2018-11-27T06:47:05","slug":"%d8%aa%d8%b7%d9%88%d9%8a%d8%b1-%d9%85%d8%af%d9%8a%d9%86%d8%a9-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b1%d9%8a%d8%a7%d8%b6","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/22726\/","title":{"rendered":"Riyadh Development Authority A comprehensive strategic plan for the city and solutions and proposals to increase the utilization of housing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ada.gov.sa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Riyadh Development Authority<\/a>Last week, the first meeting of the Authority for the year 1440 A.H. was held at the Authority's headquarters in the Embassies neighborhood, and the meeting approved the results of the study prepared by a joint team consisting of the Riyadh City Development Authority, the Ministry of Housing and the Riyadh Municipality, on top of increasing residential properties.<\/p>\n<h3>Housing Solutions and Suggestions<\/h3>\n<p>For his part, His Excellency the CEO of Riyadh City Development Authority, Engineer Tariq bin Abdulaziz Al-Fares, explained that the meeting approved the results of the study prepared by a joint team consisting of the Riyadh City Development Authority, the Ministry of Housing and the Riyadh Municipality to develop solutions and proposals to increase housing and residential properties for housing beneficiaries in Riyadh in light of the comprehensive strategic plan for the city. The study included a number of measures and solutions, including: Taking advantage of the rehabilitation of residential neighborhoods after vacating them from illegal activities, to increase the city's stock of housing units. Taking advantage of land with inappropriate or inappropriate activities within residential areas, taking advantage of urban renewal of some urban degradation sites located in areas with high densities and served by public facilities and services, taking advantage of sites allocated for housing within the Riyadh Downtown Project, rehabilitating furnished apartment buildings and converting them into housing units. The meeting directed to implement these solutions gradually and focus efforts to ensure their success.<\/p>\n<h3>Developing Historic Neighborhoods<\/h3>\n<p>The meeting was also briefed on the progress of work on the development project of Al-Dahou neighborhood, which is one of the old neighborhoods of the city of Riyadh, and holds urban significance, as the neighborhood represents the remaining part of the old wall of the city of Riyadh, which is more than 200 years old. The project aims to develop the neighborhood as a vital part of the city center by creating an environment that combines modernity and authenticity, while preserving the architectural and urban identity of the neighborhood and the remaining historic buildings, and rehabilitating them to host a number of activities.<\/p>\n<p>Activities included in the project:<\/p>\n<p>Heritage lodges with 42 housing units.<\/p>\n<p>7 cafes.<\/p>\n<p>and 195 shops.<\/p>\n<p>and a flagship heritage restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to a diwaniyah for the elderly.<\/p>\n<p>A visitor center and 3 cultural exhibitions.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0\u00a0Qasr al-Hakam area<\/h3>\n<p>The meeting was also briefed on the progress of work on the Kaiseriyat Al-Kitab project, which is being built in the shops located east of Justice Square in Qasr Al-Hakam area, and was designed according to the characteristics of the urban and heritage area to host cultural activities suitable for all segments of society, while providing various services in an attractive way that blends knowledge, interest, comfort and enjoyment.<\/p>\n<h3>The project includes:<\/h3>\n<p>14 library locations.<\/p>\n<p>Provide places to sit and read.<\/p>\n<p>Equipped to host multiple cultural activities.<\/p>\n<p>The rooftop terrace overlooking Justice Square can be utilized as a seating and reading area.<\/p>\n<p>By the grace of God, 90% of the project's work has been completed, while the shops in Al-Qaiseriya have been offered to specialized bookstores for investment.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0\u00a0Wadi Hanifa Public Transportation Project<\/h3>\n<p>The meeting also reviewed the progress of the implementation of the <a href=\"https:\/\/amlak.net.sa\/en\/home\/%d8%aa%d8%b1%d9%83%d9%8a%d8%a8-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b3%d9%83%d9%83-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%ad%d8%af%d9%8a%d8%af%d9%8a%d8%a9-%d9%81%d9%8a-%d9%82%d8%b7%d8%a7%d8%b1-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b1%d9%8a%d8%a7%d8%b6-%d9%8a%d9%82\/\">King Abdulaziz Public Transportation Project<\/a> in Riyadh city, which is currently being conducted in 250 locations along the tracks of the Riyadh train network, and in more than 650 locations in the Riyadh bus network throughout the city. In another aspect, the meeting approved the outputs of the project to update the \u00abBase Map of Wadi Hanifa\u00bb, which was established by KDIPA in 1426 AH and includes a comprehensive database of all key information about the valley, as well as the project to update the \u00abEnvironmental Information Base for Riyadh City\u00bb, which contains various details about the natural situation, climate and natural resources in the city.<\/p>\n<h3>Amendments to the boundaries of some wadi sanctuaries<\/h3>\n<p>In the same context, the meeting approved a number of amendments to the boundaries of the sanctuaries of some of the valleys tributary to Wadi Al-Sali after conducting a review of the detailed spatial lifting of the sanctuaries of these valleys from the reality of nature, and reviewing the detailed hydrological studies of their natural drainage basins, with the aim of utilizing all public utility lands within the direct influence of these tributaries, and ensuring their harmonization with the reality of nature and the existing and approved plans, urban development and implementation of roads and public utilities in the region. The meeting also approved requests to amend the building regulations for a number of rehabilitation and training projects in the city, including approving the request of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz City for Humanitarian Services to add new medical and residential buildings, facilities and services that contribute to increasing the capacity of the
