Ever since I was a kid, I've heard a common phrase. \u00abPatience is the key to relief<\/a>\u00bbI used to ask, \"Who is this al-Faraj, whose key is patience, and no one can see him except with the help of that key?\" and I used to wonder to myself, \"Isn't it time for al-Faraj to come and quench the thirst of those who are thirsty to meet him? I also imagined that Al-Faraj was a tall, broad-shouldered person carrying a large key on his shoulder, like the keys in mythological stories, to open all locked doors. .<\/p>\n

These memories jumped into my head when I was browsing a foreign novel, in which three men met by chance on a bridge in London in the middle of a dark night, as if each of them was waiting for something, glancing at each other from an invisible tip, and the wait was long and no one left, so they approached and got to know each other and discovered that they all came for the same goal: \u00absuicide\u00bb.<\/p>\n

The first said, \"I'm a young man without a job and I can't pay my rent, and I've accumulated debts and can't pay them back.<\/p>\n

That's why I decided to get rid of my life.<\/p>\n

The second said, \"I am an old man married to a young girl and I know that she has relationships with others and I cannot confront her or stop her from doing so.<\/p>\n

So I decided to commit suicide.<\/p>\n

The third said, \"I have an incurable disease that cannot be cured.<\/p>\n

The doctors have been trying to treat me and I have no choice but to die, so I decided to leave soon so I wouldn't have to endure any more pain.<\/p>\n

After they finished their stories, they began to offer each other solutions and new ideas. .<\/p>\n

They agreed to postpone the decision to commit suicide for one day only, and to meet tomorrow evening at the same place.<\/p>\n

Provided that each of them tries to solve their own problem. .<\/p>\n

The old man came to find the unemployed young man waiting for him and asked him:<\/p>\n

I met with the creditors and explained my circumstances and they were kinder and gentler than I had imagined and gave me a chance to repay, contrary to what I had expected.<\/p>\n

As for me, I divorced my wife and I feel very relieved after this decision.<\/p>\n

They turned around and did not find their sick colleague and discovered that he had returned after they left yesterday and took his own life.<\/p>\n

These two men were patient until the solution came to them, while the third was impatient and hastened death.<\/p>\n
