intends Saudi Council of Engineers<\/a> Conducting training courses and approving training methodologies and tests on Saudi Building Code<\/a> and the approval of its schedule, This was announced in a joint memorandum of understanding signed by the Authority and the Saudi National Building Code Committee in Riyadh on Wednesday, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and integration between the two parties in the areas of training and knowledge transfer related to the Code, to develop the most advanced construction methods.<\/p>\n

The memorandum includes entering into the necessary agreements with the relevant authorities under the Saudi Building Code to contribute to training, testing, certification, and all aspects of knowledge transfer aimed at localizing scientific expertise, as well as studying, reviewing, and discussing reports received from the Saudi Council of Engineers regarding the programs in this track, and requesting amendments, corrections, or improvements.<\/p>\n

The training courses offered by the Authority under this memorandum are expected to cover all aspects of the code, taking into account ongoing updates.<\/p>\n

The training material for any course must be related to the code and comply with the requirements of the Saudi Building Code.<\/p>\n

Training in the Latest Construction Methods<\/h3>\n

The memorandum of understanding provides for the Saudi National Building Code Committee, in collaboration with the Council of Engineers, to
\nThe Saudi Council of Engineers will serve as the umbrella organization through which all building code training programs will be implemented; it is responsible for announcing the courses, setting their dates and locations, and determining their terms and conditions, as well as determining the costs and registration fees for each course in coordination with the National Committee, and handling the registration process and collecting fees from program participants.<\/p>\n

The agreement was signed by Dr. Saad Al-Qasabi, Chairman of the National Building Code Committee, and Eng. Saad Al-Shahrani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Council of Engineers.<\/p>\n
