Issued Riyadh Municipality<\/a> The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs has directed the competent authorities not to grant building and urban planning licenses for all lands located on the following roads:<\/p>\n

King Salman Road.<\/p>\n

and King Khalid Road.<\/p>\n

Jeddah to Qiddiya Road.<\/p>\n

King Khalid Airport Road \u201cNorth of the North Ring\u201d.<\/p>\n

Only after obtaining approval from a committee formed for this purpose from the following entities:<\/p>\n

Royal Court.<\/p>\n

Diriyah Gate Development Authority.<\/p>\n

and the Riyadh Municipality.<\/p>\n

and the Riyadh Development Authority.<\/p>\n

This is to raise the quality of urban design in Riyadh and in line with the major projects in Riyadh, especially the Qiddiya and Diriyah Gate projects, as well as protecting the environmental areas adjacent to Wadi Hanifa and its tributaries.<\/p>\n

The secretariat demanded Riyadh Development Authority<\/a> A comprehensive urban-environmental study of the lands overlooking Wadi Hanifa and its tributaries in the area from Wadi Laban in the south to Al-Amariya Road in the north, provided that the study includes reviewing building regulations in that area, land uses, reviewing the status of existing buildings and plans, and proposed mechanisms to deal with them.<\/p>\n

The directives included the launch of an initiative called \u201cModel Neighborhoods,\u201d which is concerned with the development of neighborhoods in Riyadh.<\/p>\n

Implemented by the Riyadh Development Authority.<\/p>\n
